License Plate Ideas
I have 3 ideas for plates for it. Virginia has specialties for the NASA Langley Research Center where I work, and another for Parrotheads. Both are limited to 6 characters, a plain Virginia plate is limited to 7.
Under NASA, I'm considering:
A G33K
HIOPAL
The Parrothead is a little more troubling, because all the obvious references to Jimmy Buffet music are taken. I did find one pick to an obscure song of his was available.
CDLZRD (Off to See The Lizard)
Any other suggestions? I want them to be funny, and inside jokes are welcome so long as I get them.

Well, I love old license plates (among other quirky things)!! I picked up a yellow and orange Florida license plate from the 70s at a local antique store to add to the vignette in my dining room … and who knew I had a “vignette” 😉 I think they lend so much character, color, texture and interest to any design and I always wonder where that plate has been and what tales it could tell …
So, since I {love this}, I figured I would share a few awesome crafts, projects, products and ideas using license plates!
I have been crushing on one of those US maps made with license plates FOREVER … and just stumbled on this great DIY version over at PB&Jstories (using a poster!)!!
And a few of these cool license plate bowls(the Etsy store doesn’t have any listings or I would have linked that)would be perfect for a man cave or sports room or even a travel themed bedroom!

The scrapbooker in me cannot get over these license plate photo albums!! These would be perfect to document family vacations, a honeymoon trip or a summer road trip!
