I have this simple C# test program which opens serial port COM4 and sends the following 5 binary byte message to the device:

It works when I test it with a program called Advanced Serial Port Monitor. I see the 5 bytes being sent, and the immediate reply of the same 5 bytes.
But with my test C# program there's no reply. I'm using Advanced Serial Port Monitor in spy mode so it can monitor the COM4 port, I see the 5 bytes being sent, but I see no reply. Can't figure it out.
Bytes are sent line 31.
'DataReceived' event-handler line 59.
I set a breakpoint in the DataReceived handler, it never gets there.
