Issue:

Simulation CFD supports many different types of CAD packages to allow for geometry to be imported into the software. The versions and brands of CAD packages are changed with every release.

How do I enable the Ansys add-in? I have Ansys workbench installed on the same computer. Select the tab CAD selection, make check mark for the red arrows then click next. In short, it's a problem with the setup files for the add ins not being in the correct folders. Like Show 0 Likes.

  1. You can easily import solid model from any software to ansys workbench just by converting it into a neutral file, viz. Beside that you can directly imprort solidworks model into ansys by 3 ways. In ansys workbench, open geometry > File>attach to active CAD geometry. This will import your currently opened sw file to ansys.
